Customer Review: Canon G10
Bought this for the G10 of course - and it's legit. It's a little more expensive than other options, but for something that will protect your screen better than the others and has a lifetime warranty - for me, you can't go wrong... especially when you compare it to the cost of the camera!! Small price to pay for a lot of extra insurance to protect your investment. I watched the videos at Invisible Shield's website and it sold me. I also searched for reviews on the internet, and the ONLY thing "bad" about this product is that it's a pain to install for some devices... but thankfully for the G10 it's REALLY easy since the screen is only a small area with no curves. It took me 5 minutes before bedtime and it was ready to go in the morning. If you're picky about protecting your LCD screen, this is a GREAT product. I'm even thinking about getting one for my iPod and ditching the neoprene case it's in!
Over the past few years there has been a lot of people starting to Blog. If you are new to Blogging the most important thing is to understand the difference between a Blog and a static website. The static website is a site that is written in HTML or java script. The site will contain pages that contain information relevant to what the website is all about.
For example if your website is dedicated to Harley-Davidson or Jaguar then the site will contain information about them and even products dedicated to them, and you may have pages that contain specific information for specific models.
A Blog also contains pages about a certain topic but the main difference is that with a static site you need to update the content or your webmaster decides to change the design or content. A Blog is dynamic, this means that the contents can be updated as regularly as you would like. You can update the content as much as several times a day or weekly. This is why a Blog is so interesting and why search engines love them. Search engines in there quest to bring the user fresh and relevant favor Blogs.
Your blog will be an ongoing series of content about your topic. A lot of Bloggers blog just for the fun of it by keeping an on line diary of there activities. There is a skill to finding a profitable niche. A niche is a topic that people are interested in and therefore it would attract reader to your blog.
A lot of Internet marketers advise that you choose a niche based on your likes, interests, hobbies and experience. However this may be a little too restrictive. If your aim is to make money with your blog, then it makes sense to create a blog about what people are interested in and not necessarily what you may be interested in personally.
There are two sources to help you find niches that people are interested in and these are Google Hot Trends and Wordtracker. Google Hot Trends will give you a hour-by-hour listing about what topics receive the most searches in Google. You will need to go through the list to find any you want to blog about. Once you find one that you wish to blog about you can go to Wordtracker and enter the main keyword into there it will give you a daily search count for a particular keyword and a list of related keywords.
A general rule of thumb is if a keyword gets more than 100 searches in Wordtracker it is a profitable niche. So when you find a niche topic in both Google Hot Trends and Wordtracker to blog about you have a potential money maker. Once you have found your niche topic you will need to learn how to get your blog in front of as many people as you can. This is also called traffic generation.
One way to do this is to visit forums related to your niche and become a participator to the forum. Most forums will allow you to add a link in your signature that is posted on your posts and members will click on your link to find out more on your topic and thus visit your blog and they will also recommend it to others by bookmarking it.
Each forum has different rules that you need to follow, so you will need to read there rules. A word of warning if you post to forums you should add to the forum and not just post your link of a ad for your blog. This will get you banned from the forum sooner or later. Most forums have moderators and I have seen members get banned from forums for spamming them and that is not a reputation you want to make for yourself.
If you topic is popular one in Google Hot Trends the chances are there will be many other people interested the posts of your blog.
The last thing you need is a means to monetize your blog. This can be done through topic related advertisements such as AdSense or Bidvertiser. Once your blog has generated a large enough readership, you can even sell advertisement space. However this will take care and patience.
Making money is a challenge but can be rewarding, and if you like Blogging then making money is a bonus.
I hope you enjoyed this article and would like to wish you all the best with your blog.
