You have an absolutely adorable child/spouse/family/dog and you just can't stop taking pictures of them, right? Good for you! Photography is a great hobby to get into, but you're going to need a way to show them off, right? Have you considered putting them on the internet with a photo blog?
Thanks to digital photography, if you want to show off your photo skills, you can easily show them to the world by starting a photo blog! A photo blog is like a personal blog that you post pictures to. I'll warn you though, showing off pictures and images can get pretty addicting.
Here's what you need to get your very own, shiny and new photo blog. The first thing you'll need is a good place to put all of those pictures. I would recommend getting a site separate from your blog. It makes it much easier to use. I've worked with Photobucket and Google images with great success. Both sites have excellent tutorials to show you how to copy the images over to your blog.
The next thing you'll need is a blog. You can get these for free at a few places, but for photo blogs, I usually use Wordpress if you don't have your own site, or wordpress if you do. Either way, you only need a few minutes to get these tools up and running and you'll be on your way.
The next steps for this are pretty easy. Post your pictures and tell the world about it. Be sure to post the link to your FaceBook profile, your MySpace page, anywhere your friends and family will see it. After that, you're off an away! Happy blogging.
